Admission to the Engineering Cycle at the École Polytechnique de Ouagadougou is done either through a competitive entrance exam or via academic review, depending on the program. Admission criteria and registration periods are announced each year on EPO’s official website. Please refer to the “Admissions” section for more details.

Admission to the Preparatory Classes is based on a competitive exam or an academic review, generally after obtaining the Baccalaureate series C, D, or E. The application file includes transcripts, a copy of the Baccalaureate diploma, and an application form available on EPO’s website.

University dormitory rooms are managed by the Student Life Department. After enrollment, students can submit a housing request online or directly at the Student Life office. Rooms are assigned based on availability and social criteria.

EPO promotes a vibrant student life and cultural engagement through various clubs and activities such as the robotics club, choir, drama, football, basketball, handball, and more. Every year, the Polytechnic Cultural Week gives students the opportunity to showcase their artistic and athletic talents.
